Abstract :
Parkinson's disease is the second most common age-related neurodegenerative disorder, characterized by the loss of dopaminergic (DA) neurons in the midbrain. Current treatments for the disease only manage its symptoms; however, Cell Replacement Therapy (CRT) is a promising approach for treating Parkin-son's disease. This study was conducted with the aim of replacing lost dopamine-producing neurons using sources such as induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs).
